Think. Create. Inspire.
I am a quirky Vancouver based Designer, Filmmaker and Photographer with over 9 years experience.
Unlike most Vancouver Designers, I have a background in a wide array of media ranging from print design, typography and brand identity, to illustration, painting, web design, packaging, product design as well as capturing thought provoking film and photography. Since completing my Media Production degree at University of South Wales UK in 2011, I have designed in-house and freelanced for many companies across the globe. I am currently in the midst of completing my proposal for a Masters in New Media, with a concept based on augmented reality. I am also under taking my GDC Certification and studying 3D Design at Emily Carr in my spare time.
Being a Vancouver based photographer and filmmaker I’m blessed with an abundance of natural beauty, that I never take for granted. I spend a lot of my time photographing Vancouver, and the surrounding areas, as well as capturing breathtaking wilderness videos. My prints have been available for purchase online and in local industries. I’m a skilled portrait photographer, in and out of the studio. I have a portfolio that includes portraits, headshots and have taken on Vancouver Wedding Photographer and Videographer gigs on the odd occasion. My video experience began onboard Holland America Line filming locations around the world. Then, upon leaving, I continued with my own travel videos; under my own venture, Celtic Crusade. Since then I’ve worked on feature films, Rogers TV, TIFF and Vancouver Fashion Week.
In the small amount of spare time I allot myself, I love snowboarding and downhill mountain biking. Any chance I get to skydive I’ll take it. I hike the mountain ranges of BC and relish camping in the wilderness, being an avid survival and outdoor enthusiast. I climb on the odd occasion and run or bike when possible. On a more relaxing note, I love a good book with a cup of tea or bing watching Marvel movies.
That’s a little snapshot into who I am. I’d like to take the opportunity for thanking you for visiting my portfolio and look forward to working with you in the future. Oh, and for those who know me, and are a little confused by the photograph, I finally shaved my beard.
