Wandering around provincial park never fails to amaze me. We’re so lucky to live amongst an abundance of natural beauty. Here we wandered through the lower regions of the park. It accommodates travellers of all walks, whether you’re a man with a troller or a hardcore camping climber you can find trails right off the parking spots. Gotta love winter here

Part 2. Fast forward tot he choice of hike and we hit a snag. During winter months, which evidently include end of fall and some of spring, the park closes at 5:30pm. Bolting its gates so that reckless 7pm hikers get trapped in its belly, never to be seen again…. until the following morning. Sadly we could only do a. The lucky winner turned out to be. Ill be honest, Im not the-spotting type but the forest and Ive heard are pretty damn impressive. So we set off on the short and sweet 5km falls hike. On approach, we cut a path through the crunchy river of yellow maple leaves. Local near the hot mud pits, on our way to, playing in the shadow of an active. The bubbling vents, that surround the area, are testament to how volatile the terrain is. Yet, without a care in the world, these seemed oblivious as they chased each other, leaping across the boiling sync holes. Now that’s tough…. or reckless?
