Rented a car and drove from #Marrakech to #Ouarzazate along the #Atlasmountains highway (highway meaning treacherous dirt track). The journey was littered with small #ruralvillages selling pottery and fossils. Considering it snows here all year round and the winds nearly took us off our feet I’ve finally found somewhere rougher than my home town to live. #traveldairies #travelphotography #backpacking #trip #wanderlust #nature #freedom #adventure #bucketlist #picoftheday #explorer #discover #explore

After a 4 hour drive over the #Atlasmountains we came across #Ouarzazate. The #Moroccan home of film. Africas answer to #Hollywood. After we were denied entry into the #atlasfilmstudios I spotted the #studio walls didn’t cover the back, leaving it open to the #desert; and in the distance this is what we found. The #castle used in the film #princeofpersia.
