Rented a car and drove from #Marrakech to #Ouarzazate along the #Atlasmountains highway (highway meaning treacherous dirt track). The journey was littered with small #ruralvillages selling pottery and fossils. After a 4 hour drive over the #Atlasmountains we came across #Ouarzazate. The #Moroccan home of film. Africas answer to #Hollywood. After we were denied entry into the #atlasfilmstudios I spotted the #studio walls didn’t cover the back, leaving it open to the #desert; and in the distance this is what we found. The #castle used in the film #princeofpersia.
